Whilst each project is unique, our design philosophy is to take maximum advantage of the existing site features, and to blend the golf course with the natural character of the site.

During the design phase every effort is made to produce a naturally flowing routing for the golf course that will result in the best possible golf holes for that particular site. At the same time each hole must provide a different challenge, strategy, orientation, length and appearance while being consistent in character.

By spending time on the site during the construction, each hole is carefully moulded to take maximum advantage of the existing terrain. Many prestigious established golf clubs engage our design services on a consultancy basis including, among others, Bryanston Country Club, Royal Johannesburg and the East London Golf Club.

Profile of Mark Müller

Mark Müller has been involved in the golf course industry since 1981. He began his career as a golf course superintendent and attended the University of Massachusetts where he graduated from their Winter Turf School in 1982. From there, Mark has made a natural progression into golf course design and construction and was employed by Jack Nicklaus Golf Services as a construction coordinator on various projects worldwide from 1984 – 1989.

After moving back to South Africa in 1989 Mark was responsible for the redesign and construction of many golf courses and these are listed under Completed Projects

Dedicated Golf Course Design Services

In 1998, Mark decided to establish a new company in order to provide dedicated design services to clients.

Additionally, to further his education and international experience Mark enrolled in, and has successfully completed a 2 year Diploma Course in Golf Design Studies at the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland.
